About CUMC
The Cambridge University Music Club is devoted to encouraging the appreciation and performance of chamber music at the highest level. It has a long and illustrious history since being founded in 1889, and past members have included eminent figures such as RalphVaughan-Williams and Sir David Willcocks.
The Club runs two series of concerts in West Road Concert Hall, at the Cambridge University Faculty of Music: eight chamber concerts involving past and present members of the university, and five concerts by the University Chamber Orchestra, which consists of some of the finest instrumentalists in the University.
